Join our Operations Workforce Development team and help us create opportunities for new entry points into aerospace. Help build a diverse talent pipeline through apprenticeship. Help work with state and locals governments as we create opportunities for individuals to recreate their careers and skill sets. We are a collaborative and innovative team that works across locations on a program that is setting the standard so professionalism in communication, as well as the ability to be a self-starter is key.

As a Workforce Development Team Member, you will:
Act as the site lead for apprenticeship logistics and business rhythms for Lockheed Martin locations for SE region. Job duties to include intake sessions, coordination with government agencies, grant and incentive opportunities, coordinating interview sessions, day to day logistics of curriculum, monitoring of candidates, coordination with program management, coordinating with local academia, coordination with technical staff, local management and all other associated duties. You will also be responsible for leading and driving the Manufacturing Basic Skill program with local high schools which will require interfacing with technical instructors to understand requirements, working with state agencies to understand funding opportunities, and the project management skills to keep the project moving toward a final implementation date. This team member will also act as an extension of the Space Knowledge Continuity core team to drive knowledge management best practices in their assigned areas.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with training programs
• Ability to interface in professional demeanor with internal and external customers of all levels
• Comfort with public speaking to include large public sessions & media
• Ability to travel up to 30%: FL, GA, CO, CA, AL
• Needs to be an independent self-starter due to the remote nature of this role
• Professional communication style and demeanor as this individual will represent the Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program (AMTAP) to various government agencies and to Operations organizations across LM
• Ability to work with data analysis, metrics monitoring and analysis
• Experience with financial data and data management
Desired Skills:
• Technical knowledge of Lockheed Martin products, work processes, and certification requirements
• Coaching background
• Experience interfacing with government entities.
• High Level of SharePoint skills
• Tableau Experience
• One year technical work experience in a manufacturing environment
