Join Lockheed Martin, a global security company that employs 136,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. This rapidly evolving specialty is crucial to our ability to provide proactive services and mission resilient systems. Customers count on us to protect critical data, vital missions, and precious lives. The way we succeed is by utilizing the very best processes, innovative technologies, and the brightest people.
Faced with the escalating use of IEDs in Iraq and Afghanistan, the office of the Army Chief of Staff established the Army IED Task Force in October 2003. The task force reached out to Army components, its sister services, the private sector and academia to improve threat-intelligence gathering, acquire C-IED technologies and develop C-IED training. Lockheed Martin is proud to be a part of this team and needs you on our team.
Lockheed Martin IS&GS is seeking highly motivated Intelligence Analysts.
As an Intelligence Analyst, you will provide exploitation and asymmetric threat analysis including the identification, development, and integration of countermeasure technologies. Provide multi-intelligence analysis and fusion in support of counter-IED efforts and operations executed by committed war fighting units, integrating existing national-level products and databases to provide an enhanced level of information support. Develop and integrate enhanced Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance assets. Conduct multi-layered, multi-intelligence analysis to define patterns of IED network activity in order to narrow the search space to conduct CIED operations. Provide intelligence targeting support products and "reach-back" support to forward-deployed elements as required.
You have an opportunity to join the largest U.S. defense contractor to assist in saving lives, support national security efforts, and perform rewarding work to foster your career growth. Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Services-Defense business unit is now hiring for the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) program. The organization, together with the services and Department of Defense, is working to win the IED (improvised explosive device) fight using a balance of intelligence, training and technology.
The Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) is the Department of Defense's lead Counter-IED organization, dedicated to winning the fight against IEDs using all available resources. Working hand-in-hand with military, government, academia, international and industry partners, JIEDDO is rapidly finding, developing, and delivering emerging capabilities to counter the IED threat.
Our requirements for Intelligence Analyst on JIEDDO:
- Be deployable to the required theater of operations
- 5-15 plus years directly related experience in one or more military, academic, or defense industry functional area
- Experience working counter IED and/or asymmetric threat analysis desired
- Active Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Experience working in Iraq or Afghanistan highly desired
In support of the JIEDDO program, you can potentially earn a substantial income annually while deployed. Apply now and be one of the first 100 employees to start work by September 1, 2010, and you will receive a sign-on bonus. In addition, once hired you will have the potential to earn additional monies per referral that is hired.
At Lockheed Martin, we never forget who we're working for and we want you to feel the same.
