This session will give an overview of female fitness and nutrition for the modern career woman. SWE women have busy lives and many times fitness and nutrition takes a back seat, then before we know it our weight is out of control, and we have no energy. This can lead to sickness or injury over time, so it is important to start taking action now. We will discuss some tools to engineer our diets and workouts to help meet our body goals and not lose sight of our overall health before it's too late.

Among the topics that will be discussed will be resources employers can provide for engineers transitioning into parenting roles or outside of their hometown, and how SWE can contribute to building your new village.

This session will review the types of activities that students should consider engaging in outside the classroom since extracurriculars are critically relevant to your development as an engineer. We will also discuss tips on how to balance schoolwork and extracurricular activities and how to articulate these extracurriculars on your resumes, helping you stand out to employers.
