MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will have a wide variety of positions open to you. Mechanical Engineers are involved in: analysis requirements for a product; the design of the mechanical product and its environmental testing or analysis for upgrade and life extension. You may use tools such as Pro-E, CATIA, IDEAS, NASTRAN and/or others to accomplish these tasks.

Your work may also encompass research and development projects, using cutting-edge technology in areas that may benefit future customer contracts.

As you become more experienced, you may move into positions such as mechanical and test leads. Or you may choose to become a Technical Manager or Project Engineer. You also have the option of advancing your career while staying in your current technical area.
