ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

As an Electrical Engineer, you may participate in all aspects of analysis, design, test and integration of complex systems. Electrical engineering covers a variety of different areas ranging from RF analysis and control systems, to general hardware engineering. Some engineers design, test and integrate specific hardware and associated equipment into complex applications. Others may work on satellite communications including wireless technology. On the software side, Electrical Engineers are typically engaged in system design, definition and subsystem requirements, code development and test and the ultimate integration of subsystems into a cohesive system.

Electrical Engineers contribute to nearly every development program; from the design of small, custom integrated circuits to the integration of global command and control systems. This experience may provide you with a pipeline to many different career paths that can include program or technical management, or further discipline-specific specialization.
